Sudanese dinar
FTM000377 · Research draft
A documented account-unit or currency-system transition supports this predecessor identity; not admitted from a specimen or inherited label alone.
One scoped currency identity. Changes to subdivisions, scale, standard, instruments or issuers do not by themselves create children. A distinct account unit can remain a successor.
Dated observations: 1992–2007; this does not establish the entire lifetime.

Sources and qualifications → Modern account-unit reviewThe Sudanese dinar succeeded the Sudanese pound at ten pounds per dinar. The 2002 Act expressly defines the dinar as the unit; the 1992 note introduction and July 1999 IFS unit/reporting milestone must remain separate. Upgrade ancestry while preserving date uncertainty: 1992 cash issue is not assumed to establish every account conversion. Original implementing transition instrument still missing.
