Protectorate budgets and interbank claims continued to be denominated in koruna, even after the loss of independent external monetary policy in 1940.

Modern account-unit review

The Protectorate retained the inherited Czechoslovak koruna locally after the 1939 territorial partition. Article 10 retained koruna payments and article 12 existing law; subsequent Protectorate budgets and claims remained koruna-denominated within the distinct occupation monetary regime. The connection is local continuation of the former common account system after territorial separation. There was no new unit created merely by renaming the bank or printing new notes. The 10:1 Reichsmark rating is a peg/control relation, not its ancestry.
