The story

Sol de oro converted into Inti at 1000 old units per new unit. Country-specific currency-history entry. Cash introduction and accounting implementation can differ; earlier unit inputs remain open. [1]

Law 6746 of 11 February 1930 established the sol-oro and rated existing silver soles at the same legal value. [2]

Decree-Law 7126 required debts in Peruvian libras to be paid at ten soles per libra. Actual obligation conversion. Whether libra is a separate currency identity or a larger accounting denomination remains held for review. [3]

Turning points

Account-unit observation

Sol de oro already established as principal unit by Law 6746, before 1931 standard reform. [4]
