Turning points

Currency replacement

Lithuania exchanged 100 talonas per litas. [1]

Name revival

Inference: The 1993 litas revived the interwar national currency name. The timeline establishes two introductions separated by Soviet incorporation; no direct interwar-to-modern conversion implied. [2]

Euro monetary substitution

1 EUR = 3.45280 LTL. Lithuania: euro adoption 2015-01-01; cash 2015-01-01. Regulation 974/98 substitutes the euro for each participating state’s currency on its adoption date; cash changeover is separately defined. [3] [4] [5]

Euro cash changeover

Lithuania: euro adoption 2015-01-01; cash 2015-01-01. [4]
