Serbian dinar — occupation-era currency
T-FTM000939 · Research draft
One scoped currency identity. Changes to subdivisions, scale, standard, instruments or issuers do not by themselves create children. A distinct account unit can remain a successor.
Dated observations: 1941–1945; this does not establish the entire lifetime.

Modern account-unit reviewThe DFJ dinar replaced Serbian occupation dinars in the 1945 monetary unification. The April rates law valued 100 occupation Serbian dinars at 5 DFJ dinars and applied conversion to wartime obligations; prewar Yugoslav obligations were treated separately. Actual replacement and obligation conversion are directly documented. The Serbian branch is one incoming currency among several, not the exclusive origin of the postwar unit. Dates remain year level to avoid imposing a universal territorial changeover day.
