The story
The issuer's historical table says that from 30 April 1991 the córdoba replaced the old córdobas and became sole legal currency. [1]
Turning points
Currency replacement
The córdoba oro supplemented and then replaced the 1988 córdoba. Introduced as an account unit and later cash in 1990; floated against the prior córdoba until March 1991. No constant transition ratio asserted. [2]
