The story
The resolution divides specified prices and financial balances by 1, 000, 000 for the new scale and applies the wage-adjustment rule from 1 October 2021. [1]
Article 7 allows qualifying older banknotes of at least 10, 000 bolívares to circulate after 1 October 2021 pending a separate demonetisation resolution. [2]
ISO Amendment 170 assigns VED as an auxiliary redenomination code and explicitly leaves VES in place; it does not identify a separate digital currency species. [3]
