One scoped currency identity. Changes to subdivisions, scale, standard, instruments or issuers do not by themselves create children. A distinct account unit can remain a successor. Current currency in the inherited endpoint register. Dated observations: 1811–1813; this does not establish the entire lifetime.
Evidence within this identity, not separate currencies.

Earlier unit continuity
The 27 June 1811 law retained the existing piastre-gourde valuation while prescribing local alteration of circulating pieces. Association with the national gourde is a qualified continuity observation, not a currency birth from piercing coins.
The 4 May 1808 law rated the Spanish gourde in local livres and escalins; the valuation change was repealed on 26 July. Concurrent reckoning does not establish an exclusive livre-to-gourde replacement.
The 8 May 1813 coin law denominated national pieces as fractions of the Spanish gourde and required commercial acceptance as Spanish money. Later orders addressed equal pricing and exchange of pierced pieces at the treasury.
Act 348 authorized treasury paper for a coin withdrawal. Its 120,000-gourde authorization is distinct from the compilation’s editorial report of 300,000 gourdes issued; neither figure establishes an account-unit founding date.
Dated evidence, not exact birth or extinction dates.

National gourde reckoning in Pétion’s republic developed from the Spanish gourde/peso rated in local law. The 1811–1813 laws combine national denomination, commercial acceptance, tax accounts and treasury conversion. The regional identity grouping is qualified; northern Haiti and French-livre inputs remain open.
